We all have those people in our lives who come along and leave a mark. In the six years I have known and trained with Vince, he has significantly and positively impacted my life in ways I had never expected, so he is undeniably one of those people for me.
My friend and mentor, another of Vince’s longtime clients, introduced me to him in 2018. As a former athlete, I tried to stay active as best I could, but life got in the way, and fitness fell to the wayside. I wanted to get into shape and improve my mindset, and I desperately needed a new challenge.
Training with Vince was and is life-changing. It felt like my golden ticket! The first one or two sessions were nerve-wracking because everything was new, but almost immediately, I was so eager for our sessions and excited to see and feel my progress. The best part is that feeling has never left over all these years we’ve worked together. Even when the pandemic put a pause on almost everything, Vince created a plan for me to follow in my home gym. Even during a period of drastic change and uncertainty, Vince continued to be a motivator and source of consistency.
Vince’s programming just makes sense. It fits seamlessly into my routines as I made completely manageable (nothing drastic) lifestyle changes. His nutrition advice is simple but provides enough direction for inevitable results. Nothing is over-complicated. Vince will help you make step-by-step adjustments that guide you toward improved health and increased strength and mobility.
As a woman, I initially encountered some people outside of the gym who felt the need to offer their opinions on my lifestyle and new hobby: Wasn’t lifting going to make me “bigger?” Did I want to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger? These preconceived ideas could not have been more wrong. I lost weight, got fit, got strong, lowered my blood pressure, and, most of all, gained confidence. Sure, I can wear more clothes I want, too, but it’s badass knowing I can do things without asking for help. Plus, there is so much science-backed evidence about why women should lift weights for their health. Vince will tell you all about it!
Training with Vince has become a non-negotiable for me. My friends and family know him by name. I refuse to miss training sessions unless absolutely necessary. I can be competitive and love a challenge, and Vince has consistently supported and coached me to achieve lifts and surpass some numbers that old-me would never have dreamed of. I even referred some friends who train with Vince now, too. He’s a fantastic cheerleader and one of the most positive people I know.
I can’t recommend Vince enough or speak highly enough of his knowledge, attentiveness, and motivational capacity. I still have goals that I’m working towards, but I’m proud of my progress thus far, and I have Vince to thank for everything.
